Another trick i ve learned is to cover my vinyl seams with another fabric.

Purchase any one of these adhesives at a local craft store or online. If you experience any crease hang the fabric in the sun using clips attached to one edge. This is the most intricate seam and leaves no raw edges exposed. For example i made a bias cut trim from some faux suede for a halloween costume.
